I agree on everything you wrote. I am disgusted by this persecution against every form of Russian origin, art, literature, sport. Even though Dostowjesky has been persecuted in Italy, they have suspended a class at a university " to avoid potentially turmoil. This situation sucks. I'm ashamed to be Italian, and European, and I hate Usa more than before. Politics should never affect culture and art! I genuinely believe that you need to project a new way of approaching culture, especially music. Musicians have never understood the importance of promotion, and they consider themselves out of such mechanisms, including economic rules and the real market. This wasn't true for more than two decades, but they set themselves and there was a little bit of money from public bodies, now there are no more, and musicians should start thinking about these new ways, aimed at surviving and create a new artistic world. If they will not, the big risk is that the music will fade away.

Don't daubt it, you are right, they know that all their ideological propaganda (the new feminism, racism, climate change, etc... all of it only for justify the necessity of change, of course...) needs a media and a suport such as Art to create a sense of truth and expand. The sad thing is that it is being achieved, look at how movements like "metoo" or black lives matter", now the cancelation of russian musicians( this is a shame) ,etc.. have made their echo in so important institutions like the Metropolitan of NY, it is just one example... this ideological garbage is filling more and more theaters, museums, etc... But people accept all this absurd situations, even support them for keeping working..this is what scares me. Always the dominant power tried to implant their power through ideologies or how they could, but now people is seeing it clearly but dont react, they just follow the new power rules

I think it is better to wait some months in order to understand what the new scene will be . The old rules don’t work because they worked in a different world . I understand the current situation and I really appreciate your sincerity with me, I believe that communication is the basis of good making, only in this way can we know what each one is looking for. I hope that over time Art will have the position it deserves again, since it is not only culture, but the most select part of it, because all is culture, but not all is Art, this is often forgotten... Those of us who fight to keep Art in its deserved position, each of us from our competence, know that we are in a moment of fighting against a market that destroys everything when it tries to put everything on the same level in order to facilitate access to as many people as possible, we all know or should know that this is detrimental to the Art, which, as I have said before, is in a high position that should only be reached from respect for it. In general I have never worked through percentages , now the situation is so complicated that I really can’t imagine any possibilities to do this for anybody . As for me , the best solution is to analyze the currently international market and try to create a vision for the next 5 years . Then , it should be necessary thinking about a concrete promotion plan for sales . Without these things , it is not possible to go on . And of course these things have some costs .
