Thank you for your wishes! the matter is complicated, on measures, police etc... here a young man was shooted and killed because he was out of the curfew and police officer has believed he had a pistol in his hands... many rallies have been and for a long time, a group has also destroyed in Skodra the base of the socialist party... I don't know exactly what is happening in Slovenia, but I know what is happening in Italy and suffer a lot about this. The issue about protection and regarding measures for me is a big plot, here in fact not really measures (a part curfew ) and we have more recovered than new infections... I intended to come here because I wanted to do something about culture and art a little here and a little in Italy, but in March Covid came here as well, like in Italy, and job opportunities have been totally canceled. It seems, at the moment, there is not a clear future for culture in all the world, especially in Italy , in Albania we will see. Presently, it seems I found a job as general director of a start-up firm, they sale led apparatus, it a really big market, but I haven't trust in the owner, he seemes to have a lot of money but a big gap in his brain. I hope world culture will be open as soon as possible so that perhaps I can think about culture again. But of course, I have to try to survive and if this new job will start, I will be able to hope to come to my origin.... Have a beautiful day!
I think, health measures are quite similar in all countries, but it is not safe, if police is not strict. What is dangerous, is like in Slovenia, to use measures of political reasons. I think in Italy this is better, you will never be punished if you protest peaceful and respect measures. Here even kids (high school) less than 18 were broth to the court. But these bad times will pass, be sure. For me it is so exciting you wrote you live in Tirana. And what are you doing there, teaching, conducting? Albania is still somehow terra incognita. it's hard to stay far from my country, even though I'm very disappointed how my government managed the outbreak and I hate them for that. Here life is almost normal, of course, no concerts and any kind of live events, but at least it is possible to go to bars, restaurants, etc... and the police is really tolerant if you don't bring masks and socializing distance, and case numbers are very low, despite this big tolerance and open bars and restaurants. We only have, currently, a curfew from 8 pm to 6 am, and I think in a short time they will stop this as well
